A.P Market Oriental Food

A little dirty. No AC. Need some love all over.

We did find the hot food section. Most food was fresh. Maybe a little old but not much. What we found, whole chicken with rice, sausage and rice, some chicken and rice, Nava, Vietnamese sandwich, and Papaya salad. The might have more but I only posted what was available.

The taste?

The papaya salad was very salty. I guess
Mai Chee didn’t make the papaya! Guess not! Probably just an imaginary person. Fail papaya salad test.

The Fawm Kauv was dry and thick. The inside stuffing was fine but the skin was still thick. Less skin and more meat. The sauce was ok. Fail Fawm Kauv test.

The whole chicken? Just tried it. No. The whole chicken was plain. Not even salt. Weak rub. Nothing. Fail whole chicken test.

The Nava was good! Really how hard is it to make Nava.

This was our first time coming here. Not the best performance and not the worst.

I’m an outsider with no connections with this Hmong place. It does need some love outside and inside. Looks like a lot of neglect. They did have customers. Not Hmong.

Not recommended if you’re looking for some good Hmong food. If your looking to waste money, sure.

I wanted some hot foods to go since we were hungry and didn’t have time to sit down at a restaurant. This place was perfect! You also have the options to order food fresh and made to order as well but there was so much food to choose from that we went with the to go food.

Everything we got was delicious! They ranged from $7-$8 per packaged food. It came with meat, sticky rice and pepper. Totally worth the money!

I would come back again and again! This food was quality and priced right.

They also have a store for your oriental or gas food needs.

This is so wrong of them!!
They had the big containers for $6 about 2 months ago which I bought then now they have small containers for $5 that's whatever but yesterday I saw one big containers thinking I'm lucky cause the rest are small containers but I've should've know they just change the date knowing that their product was already bad, didn't think much of it I bought it upon opening it at home, dude the smell was so bad the veggie was so soggy and nasty I had to throw it out right away! Their food is okay, but the price are changing every few months, which is a downside. Other than that, just like every store anyone goes to, make sure to check what you're buying.

What a pot of $#@! First impression when I walked in was that it almost felt like a stop & rob (liquor store), but suddenly a bright sign hung high on the right hand side. They had a kitchen with freshly prepared food. The food was not ideal but my expectation was set to be blown away. I ordered papaya salad ($6) and looked at all the fried food. I definitely will have to give the fried food a chance. Oh, and yes, the staff was friendly.

Always fast service and lots of variety of ready-made or to-order food. Papaya and Laab perfectly seasoned (these 2 dishes always gets oversalted by a lot of places). They also listen to your spice level request..other places burn your mouth with 'mild'.

me and my mom always come here to buy hot foods and we've been coming here for a while, recently ive been noticing that the spicy dipping sauce for the chicken and rice has been HAVING DIRT/SAND in there, the first time i didnt even notice if it was dirt or not but no spices would have a weird crunchy texture. this happened not once but three times to me. i dont know if the cooks did this on purpose or not but something's fishy and the amount of dirt in here means it cant be on accident, i love the food here but if you dont know how to properly cleanly cook please learn how to because this is serious and could also cause health problems to me and other people. i hope this was a mistake and not purposely done because thats just so cruel, we helped support this market for a very long time and never would've thought a situation like this would happen.

I was looking for a quick foods to go for lunch. I bought 3 of their sandwiches and spring roll. And omg... what kind of sandwich is this?!!! No flavors, just shredded cucumbers and make the bread all soggy and wet. And so much green plants inside, not even pastry like ingredients inside, just soggy turkey little meats, and 2 ding ding jalapenos. And the springroll is nasty. Wasted 34$ over this including 3 cans of pepsi, thought it was good. But all i see is homeless ppl go buy foods there. From now on i will not going to buy there again. Nasty.

Used to always come here to get my spicy papaya fixed. Customer service was great even the ladies in the back. I love it when the owner's wife make my papaya instead of the old lady. You can see and taste the difference. Wish I can visit home again. The parking could be bigger because its too small.
